“Breakout at the Plaza,” is a night of entertainment to benefit C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Ministries, and “I AM” the Voice of the Voiceless. These two mission-driven non-profits in Knoxville, Tennessee, provide a variety of services for all who need them. The executive directors are: Keira Wyatt and Vivian Underwood Shipe, respectively.
“Breakout at the Plaza,” will be the evening of July 24. 2021, from 6 – 10 p.m., at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located at 401 W. Summit Hill Drive, in downtown Knoxville. Free parking for guests in the hotel garage. Stay tuned for more details!
Doors open at 6 p.m. for hospitality. Cash bars will be available. A fantastic smorgasbord dinner prepared by the hotel, is from 7-8 p.m., and the entertainment begins at 8 p.m. and goes non-stop until 10 p.m.
Jeanine Fuller, is a Brooklyn, New Yorker turned Knoxville, Tennessean, versatile vocalist and performer. Her vast musical influences vary from Etta James, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, Dianne Reeves to Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson & Prince. Her vocal sound is eclectic, seasoned blends of soul, blues, jazz, funk & rock.
Nationally touring and locally based stand-up comedian, Alex Stokes (aka The Beer Comedian) will tickle our funny bones, with his comedy routine.
